LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN LEADERSHIP FOR HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S SERVICES

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England) (RQF) is for staff in a Management Role. It the mandatory requirement for Registered Managers to operate a registered care service in adult and children’s care. It is aimed at managers and advanced practitioners working in health and social care and children and young people’s services.

The qualification is designed for learners to achieve competence at leading and managing a health, social care or children’s and young persons service. It develops advanced management skills and competencies that will not have been covered in lower-level diplomas.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England) (RQF), replaces the NVQ 5 in Health and Social Care.

Learner Entry Requirements

This is a significant qualification designed for people who are or about to become Registered Managers or Advanced Practitioners. Learners should be competent in literacy and numeracy It is also recommended that learners hold a Level 3 qualification or above in a related area. Care Skilled may decide to use diagnostic testing methods to ascertain how we are best able to support learners.
